Q: Will my Shower Door fit the Classic Marble Shower Tray?
A: Classic Marble Shower Trays have been designed to fit all the leading makes of Shower Doors. Please contact us for advice, particularly on Quadrant Shower Doors.
Q: What can I do to prevent my Shower Tray from Leaking?
A: Movement occurs in buildings due to shrinkage and settlement, this can cause cracks to appear around Shower Trays, Baths and worktops which can allow water to leak. Classi Seal ® has been specifically designed to accommodate this movement and still maintain a waterproof seal, thus preventing any leaks. To create the complete waterproof installation Classic Marble recommends using Classi Seal ® on the Shower Tray or bath and Classic Marble Wall Panels and fittings on the wall.
Q: How much Classi Seal ® will I need?
A: Classi Seal ® is available in 2, 3 4 or 12.5 metre rolls. Calculate the total lengths of the sides which will come in contact with the wall tiles, wall panels or other wall coverings and choose a roll length accordingly.

Q: How do I install my Shower Tray?
A: After fitting the Classi Seal ® (self adhesive flexible waterproof upstand) the tray is now ready for installation. When installing the Tray always ensure that the base of the tray is adequately and evenly supported and likely to remain so throughout the working life of the Shower Tray. For example on a wooden floor support the Shower Tray on a sheet of 20mm Marine Ply, which itself must be adequately and evenly supported. On a concrete floor, bed the Tray in a sand and cement mixture.
Level the top rim of the Shower Tray in two directions and check there is a sufficient fall to allow the water to drain to the waste outlet.
Q: How do I fit the Shower Doors against the Shower Tray?
A: The Shower Doors are supported by their fixings to the walls. The bottom of the Door comes to rest on the Shower Tray. The Shower Door bottom rail is fitted on top of the Shower Tray and the joint line is sealed with Silicon on the outside only.
Q: What plumbing fittings do I need to connect onto the waste outlet?
A: Standard 1½ " plumbing waste pipe and connections may be used. Fitting a standard 1½ " Easy Clean Waste and Trap is recommended as this allows future easy opening and cleaning of the waste trap.
Q: How I keep my Classic Marble Shower Tray and Wall Panels in pristine condition?
A: By washing the Tray and Wall Panels with soap and water and drying with a soft cloth.
